Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • 1 Bread pan

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ Cup Greek yogurt Full fat works best
  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Butter melted
  • 2-3 Tbsp Lemon zest
  • 2-4 Tbsp Lemon juice More lemony
  • Butter For greasing the pan

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375℉
  • Use the extra butter to grease the bread pan
  • In the large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, & lemon zest)
  • Mix together the milk & yogurt until it is all liquid
  • Add the the lemon juice & melted butter to the milk mixture and stir it together
  • Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until combined
  • Pour into the bread pan and bake for ~40 minutes
  • Cool for about 15 minute and then turn out on to a cooling rack
