Lemon Bread
Equipment
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- 1 Bread pan
Ingredients
- 2 Cup All purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ Cup Greek yogurt Full fat works best
- ¾ Cup Milk
- 2 Tbsp Butter melted
- 2-3 Tbsp Lemon zest
- 2-4 Tbsp Lemon juice More lemony
- Butter For greasing the pan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375℉
- Use the extra butter to grease the bread pan
- In the large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, & lemon zest)
- Mix together the milk & yogurt until it is all liquid
- Add the the lemon juice & melted butter to the milk mixture and stir it together
- Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until combined
- Pour into the bread pan and bake for ~40 minutes
- Cool for about 15 minute and then turn out on to a cooling rack
