Banana Bread

Equipment

  • Stand mixer
  • 9x5x3 Loaf pan

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 8 Tbsp Unsalted butter Room temperature
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Bananas Very ripe
  • 1 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F
  • Butter loaf pan.
  • Using mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • In a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Then in mix in milk and cinnamon.
  • In a larger bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined.
  • Add the dry ingredients, mixing just until the flour disappears.
  • Pour batter into loaf pan and bake until a it passes a toothpick test – Approx 45 min
  • Set on a cooling rack for 15 minutes. Then remove from pan and allow it to cool completely.
