Preheat oven to 400℉.
Grease bottom of skillet with with butter, bacon grease, Crisco, whatever.
Sift the flour into the mixing bowl. Add in the cream. Mix until combined.
Flour your work surface and turn out the dough onto it. Knead the dough a bit. It should be dry on the outside.
Roll or press out the dough until it is about ½ inch thick. Use a biscuit cutter and press down (do not twist it). Place the cut biscuits in the skillet close together, but not touching. Brush some extra
Bake in the over for 13-18 minutes. Since they can be irregular, poke them a little to test.
Sever with butter, jam, sausage gravy, honey, whatever you like on your biscuit.
