Aliminium pans
Aluminiun foil
Nonstick cooking spray
- 1-½ Cup Macaroni
- 8 oz Alredo sauce (about ½ jar)
- ½ Cup Cheddar cheese Grated
- ½ Cup Parmesesan cheese Grated
- ¼ Cup Mozzarella cheese Grated
- ⅓ Cup Milk or half & half
- Salt and pepper to taste
Prep before camping trip
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Stir in Alfredo sauce, three cheeses, and enough milk to keep it 'loosey goosey'. (This will keep it from drying out while keeping it cool)
Stir in salt and pepper to taste.
Spray pie pan (or 4 smaller pans for individual servings) with nonstick cooking spray. Also spray one side of the aluminium foil to cover the servings.
Spoon in mac & cheese mixture and seal pan(s).
Place in refridgerator or cooler until ready to use.
Cooking time
Prepare fire and let it burn down to coals. (I used a small table top grill with great success).
Place a cooking rack about 2-3 inches above coals.
Place pans over hot coals and cook for 8-10 minues or until hot.
Remove from fire and serve.
