Instructions
Cupcakes
Preheat oven per directions on cake mix.
Prepare cake mix per directions on box, substituting the Coca-Cola for water.
Save 2 Tbsp of the maraschino cherry syrup.
Add the remainging maraschino cherry syrup & cherry pie filling
Line cupcake pan with paper baking cups.
Pour batter into cups and bake according to directions on cake box.
Let cool before frosting.
Cherry Frosting
Add butter, cream cheese, and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer until fluffy.
Add saved cherry syrup and mix until combined.
Spread on cupcakes and top with maraschino cherries.
