Add eggs, milk, almond extract, and lemon zest and mix.
Blend in flour and baking powder gradually.
Chill over night
The next day
Preheat oven to 350°
Roll out dough to ⅛" on floured surface
Use cookie cutters to make shapes, etc.
Bake each batch of cookies for 8-10 minutes.
Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled.Decorating frosting can be made with confectioner's sugar, a bit of soft butter, a shot of vanilla, and milk to desired consistency.
