This is one of my favorite desserts. Amazing when fresh and even better after cooling in the refrigerator.
Southern Apple Cream Pie

- 9" Pie pan
 
Ingredients
Filling
- 1-⅓ Cups Sugar
 - 3-½ Tbsp Flour
 - 1-¼ Cups Sour cream
 - 2 Eggs Beaten
 - 1 tsp Vanilla
 - ¼ tsp Salt
 - 3 Cups Apples Chopped
 
Topping
- ¾ Cup Sugar
 - ½ Cup Flour
 - 1-¼ tsp Cinnamon
 - 6 Tbsp Unsalted butter Melted
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
 - In mixing bowl, blend sugar and flour.
 - Add sour cream, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix until smooth.
 - Add apples and blend well.
 - Pour into pie shell.
 - Bake for 30 minutes.
 - Remove from oven, sprinkle on topping, and back for 10 more minutes
