Chuck’s Texas Style Chili (for sissies)

This was my dad’s recipe originally, but I have made some changes to make it my own.

Chuck’s Texas Style Chili

Ingredients

  • 3 lb Ground beef We sometimes mix turkey breast and beef
  • 15 oz Tomato sauce
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 tsp Tabasco Or Sriracha
  • 3+ Tbsp Chili powder
  • 1+ Tbsp Oregano
  • 1+ Tbsp Cumin
  • 2 Onions Chopped
  • Garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • JalapeƱo peppers Or whatever kind you like to taste
  • 1-2 Cans Pinto beans Or whatever you like

Instructions

  • Cooke onion and ground meat until browned.
  • Drain out excess fat/oil
  • Add all of the remaining ingredients and simmer for ~1 hour, stirring occasionally.
