Chocolcate Cherry Coca-Cola Cupcakes

Ingredients
Cupcakes
- 1 Box Dark chocolate cake mix About 18 oz
- Eggs Per cake mix
- Vegetable oil Per cake mix
- 12 oz Coca-Cola 1 Can
- 8 oz Marashino cherries in syrup 1 Jar
- 21 oz Cherry pie filling 1 Can (slightly drained)
Cherry Frosting
- 5½ Tbsp Butter Softened
- 2 Tbsp Cream cheese Softened
- 2½ Cups Powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp Maraschino cerry syrup
Instructions
Cupcakes
- Preheat oven per directions on cake mix.
- Prepare cake mix per directions on box, substituting the Coca-Cola for water.
- Save 2 Tbsp of the maraschino cherry syrup.
- Add the remainging maraschino cherry syrup & cherry pie filling
- Line cupcake pan with paper baking cups.
- Pour batter into cups and bake according to directions on cake box.
- Let cool before frosting.
Cherry Frosting
- Add butter, cream cheese, and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer until fluffy.
- Add saved cherry syrup and mix until combined.
- Spread on cupcakes and top with maraschino cherries.
