Overnight Carmel French Toast

Equipment
- 9×13 Baking dish (3 quart)
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Brown sugar Packed
- ½ Cup Unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp Light corn syrup
- 12 Slices Bread
- 6 Eggs Beaten
- 1-½ Cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- ½ tsp Salt
Instructions
The night before
- Combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in sauce pan.
- Cook over medium heat until thick.
- Pour mixture in 9×13 baking disk.
- Place bread in baking dish in layers.
- Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Stir togerher until well blended.
- Pour mixture over bread.
- Cover and chill for 8 hours.
Breakfast time
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Scoop out with spatula and flip onto plate
