Buttermilk Drop Biscuits

- 2 Cups All purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp Baking powder
- ¼ tsp Baking soda
- 2 tsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Cream of tartar
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ½ Cup Unsalted butter (I use a little extra butter to use in pan)
- 1-¼ Cups Buttermilk
Preheat oven to 450°. Place biscuit pan in oven to get it hot.
In mixing bowl, stir together dry ingredients.
Cut in butter with a fork or pastry blender to course crumb stage. (I just use my hands to mix it in).
Add buttermilk and stir until just blended. Should be quite lumpy.
Remove pan from oven and spray with PAM or melted butter.
Drop dough into pan filling each section.
Bake about 30 minutes or until brown on top.
