Cook this ahead of time
Instructions
Make white sauce
In medium pot, melt butter over medium-low heat.
Stir in flour and stir continuously to make a roux.
Add milk in parts and whisk until it thickens.
Remove from heat and add salt and 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
Prep sausage and vegetables
Remove sausage from casings, and cut into chunks.
Put in skillet over medium-high heat and brown.
Add in peppers and onions and cook until tender.
Bring it all together
Preheat oven to 350°.
Take sausage and vegetable mixture and stir in sauce and the 4 cups of precooked pasta.
Pour into a greased casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until cheese starts to brown.
